Frank Lloyd Wright House
26336 Scenic. The famous architect designed both the house, built in 1948 of Carmel chalrock, and the furniture.  It sits on the edge of the beach with the Pacific Ocean as a front yard.
The First Murphy House
NW corner of Lincoln and 6th.  The house was constructed in 1902 by 17 year old Michael J. Murphy. He had a significant influence on the character and architecture of the village of Carmel during his career.

Light refreshments will be served from 2:30PM-5:00PM at the First Murphy House.

Harmony House
Dolores and 2nd.  Built in 1923 by Hazel Watrous andDene Denny, founders of many of Carmel's musical and artistic activies, including the Carmel Bach Festival (taking place this year from July 17 - August 1), the house is an integral part of Carmel's cultural heritage.

Forge in the Forest
24814 Pescadero.  Believed to be built in 1926, on a lot purchased for the "sum of Ten dollars in gold coin," the main house was home of Carmel's famed "Blacksmith Mayor" John C. Catlin.
The Door House
24814 Pescadero.  Originally built in 1906 of 34 solid four-panel doors salvaged after the San Francisco earthquake.  Moved to its current location on the grounds of Forge in the Forest in 1009 and restored.

Spare House
26375 Valley View.  The present owners have remodeled this cottage, built in 1925, to resemble the 18th century New England and Cape Cod houses they know and admire.

Beardsley House
8th and Casanova.  The George and Alice Beardsley House was built, by M.J. Muprhy, in 1909 and this year celebrates its 100th year.  George Beardsley was on the first Carmel city council and current owner Ken was mayor of Carmel from 1992 to 2000.  Ken and Jean White are now the 3rd generation in the family to live in the house.

Hatton House                                                                 25100 Hatton.  An unassuming house built in the 1960s was transformed by the current owners to reflect their appreciation of the rich heritage of the Arts and Crafts movement.

Pied a Terre                                                                  Dolores & 2nd.  Built in 1924 by Hazel Watrous as an original "mother's cottage" this cute Carmel cottage has many original features.

Le Papillon garden                                                          25091 Hatton.  This once catepillar of a yard has flourished into a beautiful blooming butterfly.
